Cookie Policy
Effective 2 November 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains how Doodly Arcade (doodlyarcade.com) uses cookies and similar storage. Effective date: 2 November 2026. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Essential cookies and localStorage
These are needed to run the optional login, to keep guest game saves, and to remember your cookie choice. They are not used to sell a profile of you.
- arcade_session — an HTTP-only sign-in cookie so we know which optional account is playing. It is set only after you sign in. SameSite=Lax. About 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Game saves (localStorage) — scores, trophies, Blockyard looks, and cabinet state for guests.
- Consent choice (localStorage) — Accept, Reject, or the Manage mix you saved, so we do not ask on every page.
First-party analytics
If analytics is allowed, we store a random visitor id in localStorage and send page and play events to our own Worker. No third-party analytics cookies. This helps us see which cabinets are used. You can reject advertising without turning off this first-party count unless you also clear site data. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland who reject the banner are not tracked.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense / DoubleClick)
When you accept advertising cookies, the hub may load Google AdSense. Google and its partners (including DoubleClick) set cookies and similar IDs to show personalised ads based on your visit to doodlyarcade.com and/or other sites. These cookies are not essential. Games do not load them.
Google’s use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can change personalised ads at Google’s ad settings. Industry opt-outs: aboutads.info and Your Online Choices.
How to change consent
Use Cookie settings in the footer on any page. That reopens the first-party consent banner so you can Accept, Reject advertising cookies, or Manage them. Necessary sign-in cookies stay available because the optional login cannot work without them. You can also delete cookies and localStorage in your browser. On iPhone Safari: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, or remove doodlyarcade.com under Advanced → Website Data.
